Beach in the Winter?

Why would anybody go to a certain place without knowing what the weather will mainly be? Most people would not book a trip to the beach in South Carolina in the winter, or a trip to a ski resort in Colorado in July. It is important to know the weather conditions before you book a trip to somewhere, especially because most people book their trips well in advance. It would not be a good vacation if someone went to Disney World and it rained every day during Florida's rainiest month. Although places have big deals during specific seasons, check out the weather during that time period because it probably has some kind of weather factor people do not like to vacation in, at that location. I think that if you schedule a vacation and find out later it is during a season one would not want to be there in, then reschedule it so it is a better experience. So before you book a vacation, make sure the weather is usually the right climate for that specific vacation spot, and not something you would not want to be in, that would ruin the trip.

  1. Hello Lauryn! For starters, I would have to agree with your blog. Neither going to the beach in the winter and going on a ski trip in July sound very appealing. From experience, I can tell you that going to Mexico Beach during a tropical storm was not very fun. Travelers should always check the weather before planning a vacation. It is now the first thing that me and my family do before going on a vacation. I enjoyed your blog very much and I look forward to more post in the future.

  2. I agree 100% as well. It rained for a few days while I was in Italy with my parents. The tours were canceled, so my mom had to reschedule and change a few things, which cut into our vacation time (I was ok with that though because I was tired of going to so many museums, being that I was only nine and had a short attention-span). Now, lesson learned, just like Rachel and her family, the weather is one of the first things we look at. I like to enjoy the season. I would be very disappointed if I had to go to the sunny beach during the winter. I would have to wait for winter another whole year. Fantastic blog by the way!
